Badrinath – Exploring One of India’s Most Important Char Dham Sites

Image
Badrinath is one of those places that makes you feel calm the moment you reach. When I arrived, the cold mountain breeze and the sight of the colourful Badrinath Temple with huge snow-covered peaks behind it felt really special. It’s easy to see why Badrinath is such an important stop in the Char Dham Yatra. The Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is the main highlight of the town. Standing in front of it with the Neelkanth Peak rising behind felt like looking at a picture. The ringing bells, chants, and peaceful atmosphere around the temple made the whole place feel soothing. Inside, the darshan felt comforting, especially after the long journey. I also visited Mana Village, known as the last village of India. Walking around the village, seeing the simple houses, small shops, and friendly locals was a nice experience. The Vyas Gufa and Bheem Pul nearby are interesting places to explore, and the views around them are beautiful. The natural beauty in Badrinath is amazing. ...

DakshinaChitra- A Beautiful Journey Into South Indian Culture

Image
Our college decided to visit Dakshinachitra for the first industrial visit, a cultural heritage museum I'd heard a lot about and wow, it turned out to be such a awesome experience. The way history was shown in the museum was really enchanting. As soon as I entered the museum I saw a lot of shops selling art, textiles etc, which were really fine to look at. I really likes the 'Red Earth and Pouring Rain' art that was displayed near the entrance. I found the symmetrical and circular pattern really pretty. There were other art f...

Auli is one of those places that feels beautiful no matter when you visit. When I reached Auli, the first thing I noticed was the fresh mountain air and the huge snow-covered peaks all around. It’s no surprise that Auli is known as one of India’s top skiing destinations. In winter, the whole place turns white, and watching people ski down the slopes looks straight out of a movie. I tried walking on the snow-covered paths, and even that felt exciting. If you enjoy adventure, Auli is perfect for skiing, snowboarding, or even just playing in the snow. The cable car ride from Joshimath to Auli was one of my favourite parts of the trip. Floating above the mountains and seeing the snowy peaks from so high up was an unforgettable experience. But Auli isn’t only about winter. When summer comes, the snow melts and the whole place turns into a green meadow. The views of Nanda Devi and other Himalayan peaks look even clearer. I enjoyed sitting on the grass, breathing the fresh air, and ju...
